Oakland, CA - The Montclair Village Association proudly presents the 2007 Holiday Stroll. Come and join us for this Village-wide event on December 6, 2007 from 6:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. Festivities will include ice skating horse drawn wagon rides, a motorized Cable Car with stops at participating local businesses, music, prizes, refreshments of all kinds, store sales and many other treats and surprises for the whole family. Feel free to join us in a fun holiday costume.
Activities & Entertainment Play the Winterland Passport Game – Fun for All Ages!
Pick up your passport at any of the participating businesses or at Winterland Headquarters the night of the Stroll. Get stamps from NINE Passport destinations and receive a FREE GIFT from the MVA!
Ice Rink – Antioch Parking Lot
Try ice skating in Montclair sponsored by Pacific National Bank and Certa Pro Painters! The upper Antioch Parking Lot (at Myrna’s Flowers) will be transformed into an ice rink for one night only. Bring your skates and skate for free or rent skates from us for $5. All ages Welcome!
Wagon Rides
Fancy Farriage by Horse and Carriage is coming to the Holiday Stroll! Wagon rides are $3 per person or two rides (or people) for $5. The wagon rides will pick-up and drop-off at Utopia Designer Fashions located at 6466 Moraga Ave.
Ride the Motorized Cable Car
Attendees are welcome to take free rides on the motorized cable car circulating throughout the Village. The Trolley route will start at the Mountain Yoga Family Dance Party on Antioch Ct. and go through the Village to Thornhill Drive. FREE!

Pacific Boy Choir
Based in Oakland, the Pacific Boychoir Academy was founded in 1998 and today comprises about 120 boys and young men in five choirs, aged 5-18. The PBA also runs the only full-academic choir school on the West Coast. The Los Angeles Times described the Pacific Boychoir quality of sound and musicianship as “astonishing.” The Pacific Boychoir performs frequently with the San Francisco Symphony and has toured around the USA and the world.

Tap Dancing Christmas Trees
The hardest working trees in the business-commuting (roped to the top of minivans, of course) from as far as Marin County-practice at Pamm Drake's Dance/10 Studios. Only a few performances happen in Alameda, but these shining Christmas stars cruise meet-and-greets to branch out to fans across the Bay Area.
